Mark Grenside started his career in 1976 in Kidnap and Ransom Insurance at Lloyds of London. However, in 1980 he took a chance at moving into media becoming one of the original team of (Jim) Henson International Television, creators of the Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.

Since then he has had three decades of experience in virtually every aspect of media. He has been directly involved in the financing, creation, production and distribution of film, television, and music.

In 2004 he formed a group that raised US $250m to buy Hallmark International, the Hallmark Channel and Library (ex-USA) that was successfully sold to NBC.

In 2010 -2014 he was a principal in MNG Films with a slate of nearly US$80m of television production for SKY, NBC Universal and The Hallmark Channel.

Mark is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Dragonfly Biosciences, one of Europe’s largest licensed growers of CBD with over 1,000 acres under cultivation. In addition, he has a number of equity investments in digital media.

He lives in Malta with his wife and two French Bulldogs.
